Welcome to my portfolio! I am excited to share with you my diverse range of experiences across branding, business consultancy, mentorship, advocacy, and philanthropy services.
Agribusiness Consultant:
1. As the Divisional Manager of the Ogun State Agricultural Development Corporation (OGSADC) cashew plantation in Ibara Orile, I demonstrated strong leadership by overseeing a diverse team of 200 staff members. In this role, I provided guidance on cashew replanting, expansion initiatives, and devised comprehensive strategies to enhance farm productivity and profitability. Through effective management and strategic planning, I successfully navigated multicultural dynamics, optimising operations to drive growth and achieve desired outcomes for the cashew plantation.
2. As a research assistant, I played a vital role in developing the Kwara State Agriculture Master Plan, a comprehensive strategy comprising 17 implementable projects aimed at boosting agricultural productivity throughout the state. Our approach focused on engaging communities and empowering them to drive project development from the ground up. By combining extensive research, community involvement, and a participatory approach, we crafted a roadmap that aimed to unlock the full potential of agriculture in Kwara State, fostering sustainable development and enhancing the livelihoods of local farmers.
3. I served as a junior consultant for Soil-to-Silo a private agriculture extension company that services the African continent and utilises technology and mechanisation to deliver successful agricultural projects. I contributed to the implementation of the first edition of the Agronomy track of the US SOY project in collaboration with Kankas State University and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture. I also led the Kwara state 500 hectares Cassava and Soybean strategy development.

Invited by the president of the United Nations Economic and Social Council(ECOSOC), Lachezara Stoeva to attend the ECOSOC youth forum as a leader from the global south to contribute to the forum that provided a platform for young people to engage in a dialogue with Member States and other actors to voice their views, concerns and galvanise actions on how to transform the world into a fairer, greener and more sustainable place guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Contributed to Mishcon de Reya (a renown law firm, and the Democracy and Culture Foundation, which is linked with The NY Times), on a Global Youth Inquiry which collected evidence from global young leaders on climate change impact on us, communities we live in and serve, and how we can be better enfranchised in decision-making and action-taking. This high level report was presented at COP26.
Founded and Led the Youth Agvocates Nigeria in 2019, a movement geared at advocating for policy reforms as it affects youth and women in Agriculture while providing opportunities and capacity building initiatives for youth and women to thrive. Under my leadership as president for a period of 9month, we hosted 2 physical events (regional and national which had 170+ and 340+ attendees respectively), with a thriving community of 10,000+ members after which I stepped down from the role.
The Tolulope Aina foundation is built on the belief that every young person deserves an opportunity to thrive and succeed, regardless of their circumstances. We aim to provide them with access to quality education, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to overcome the barriers that hold them back.
Empowerment is at the core of our mission. We endeavour to empower these young minds to become agents of change, inspiring them to dream big and pursue their aspirations with unwavering determination. By nurturing their talents, fostering their self-belief, and providing mentorship, we aim to unleash their full potential.
Community service lies at the heart of what we do. Through various initiatives and partnerships, we strive to uplift entire communities, addressing their unique needs and fostering sustainable development. We believe that by working together and mobilising collective efforts, we can create a ripple effect that extends far beyond individual lives.
Today, as I reflect on that impactful morning and the profound journey it set in motion, I invite you to join us in our noble cause. Together, we can rewrite the narrative for these vulnerable young souls, offering them hope, love, and the tools they need to carve out a future filled with promise. Let us stand united in our mission to build futures, empower communities, and inspire change. For support and further Enquiry please reach out via equiries@thetolulopeaina.com
